Renowned Nigerian singer and songwriter, Teni, recently amused many with her infectious laughter in a video where she playfully mocked African nations anticipating Nigeria’s defeat in the ongoing African Cup of Nations (AFCON).
On February 2nd, 2024, the Super Eagles once again brought pride to Nigeria by defeating Angola in the Quarter Final Match of AFCON. Ademola Lookman scored a goal in the 41st minute, securing the Super Eagles’ spot in the AFCON 2023 Semi Finals in Ivory Coast.
Before the match, some African countries, especially Ghana, eagerly awaited Nigeria’s loss while supporting Angola. However, the tables turned, and the Super Eagles dominated the match, leading to a disappointing day for Ghana.
Following the victory, Ghanaians became a hot topic on the popular microblogging platform X, facing significant criticism from Nigerians. Teni, in line with the trend, shared a video bursting into laughter, not only mocking Ghanaians but also playfully targeting the people of Cameroon, who had previously faced defeat against the Super Eagles during the AFCON round of 16.
It’s worth noting that Teni’s laughter was so intense that it became uncontrollable, even resulting in the singer unintentionally spitting saliva.
