We’ve all been waiting for the time to come up. After series of accusations of R.Kelly, it’s secure to tell that individuals are counting down the days until the disgraced singer gets locked up. He’ll always have his followers, of course. And what they’re saying is that he’s innocent of all the accusations until proven guilty.
However, following the discovery by his prosecutors of several sex recordings involving R.Kelly and underage women, many individuals have already made up their minds. This morning, he was moved to the general prison and as he awaits his trial, he will stay there. In April 2020, he’ll find out how long he’s due to remain behind bars.
R. Kelly’s trial will start on April 27, 2020, as reported by Fox News. The 52-year-old singer faces countless accusations of child pornography, obstruction of justice, and more, as we all know. He was in court this morning when the judge announced his trial date, rocking an orange jumpsuit.
This is, of course, only the first of four upcoming tests in which Kelly will participate. His lawyer, Steve Greenberg, allegedly said today that preparing for the upcoming trials would be difficult. His next hearing is on September 18. We will continue to keep you updated on this case.
