Popular Nigerian nightlife king Cubana Chief Priest has been granted N10 million bail after being accused of alleged Naira Abuse by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
EFCC is prosecuting him for alleged spraying and tampering of the Naira at an event at Eko Hotel on February 13th 2024, an event in Lagos in January 2024 and another event in 2020.
However, he was arraigned before Justice Kehinde Ogundare of the Federal High Court, Lagos today, April 17th 2024.
Businessman, Pascal Okechukwu a.k.a Cubana Chief Priest has pleaded not guilty to charges of naira abuse filed against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
While being arraigned in court this morning, Cubana’s counsel, Chukosolo Ojukwu, opposed the charges filed against him by the EFCC. He has also filed an application for bail.
However, after pleading guilty and filling application for bail, Cubana Chief Priest was granted N10M bails.
As of the moment of filling this content, the Cubana Chief Priest has been freed by EFCC till the commission called him again or otherwise.
