Melania Trump chose to travel to Dayton, Ohio for a somber marine ensemble with President Donald Trump on Wednesday to meet individuals affected by the weekend mass shooting.

The first lady of 49-year-old gave Sportmax a sleeveless $795 midi dress that she paired with matching navy heels. For a lot of ruching in the front, the straightforward yet elegant crepe frock had a minimalist design. Melania protected her eyes as she made her way to Marine One on the White House South Lawn with a couple of dark black-frame sunglasses. During her journeys, she wore them, including when they landed in Green County, Ohio, at the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.

The navy clothing of the former model complemented the navy suit of Trump, which he paired with his long red tie signature. She wore in her signature style her lengthy highlighted brown hair loose around her shoulders and went close to her husband as they made their way to Marine One, though not holding hands. They landed at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland after a brief helicopter flight where they boarded Air Force One together.

Melania resulted the way up the aircraft’s steps as her husband closely followed. Before they walked inside, they paused, and Trump waved down to the individuals as his spouse looked into the distance.  They walked side by side when they stepped off Air Force One in Ohio on Wednesday morning.

Protests met with the president’s arrival in Dayton, as several hundred protesters lined the streets and chanted’ Do Something! —Anti-gun rallying cry from the shooting of the city. Connor Betts opened fire early Sunday morning in Dayton’s Oregon district, killing nine individuals, including his 22-year-old sister, before policemen shot him fatally within 30 seconds of his rampage beginning.

The president and first lady headed Miami Valley Hospital during their visit, where many of the victims of Sunday’s assault were treated, to thank first responders and hospital employees, as well as to meet victims and their relatives.

At least 200 protesters have gathered outside the hospital hoping to send a message to the president that he’s not welcome in the city. Later Wednesday, the Trumps will travel to El Paso, Texas, the site of the other weekend mass shooting.
