A Nigerian lady who began her studies at the University of Lagos in 2012 has finally graduated after numerous delays.
She was unable to graduate with her peers because she withdrew from UNILAG in 2014, two years after enrolling.
She said she was first admitted to study computer science at UNILAG, but she did not complete the course.
In a post on X, Design Queen Ruqayyah shared that after withdrawing from UNILAG, she retook JAMB and reentered the university in 2017.
Ruqayyah’s second admission to UNILAG was for a degree in estate management, and she graduated in 2024. She mentioned that it took her 10 years to earn her degree, but she’s grateful it finally happened.
She said; “2012 I gained admission to study computer science in UNILAG. 2014, I was withdrawn and it felt like life had ended. Wrote jamb twice till I gained admission again in 2017 to study Estate Management in UNILAG. It took me 10 years but I finally did it.”
