French Talent Anthony Bourdon’s 2025 AMA Supercross Season Ends After Brutal Crash

Anthony Bourdon, the rising French star in AMA Supercross, was steadily making waves in his second full season, competing in the highly competitive 250SX West Coast series. With impressive consistency, Bourdon was sitting in a strong seventh place in the championship standings after four rounds, showing promise as he aimed to continue climbing the ranks.

Bourdon’s journey to the top of American Supercross racing began when he joined the Bar-X Suzuki team last year. Building on his performance, he decided to remain with the squad for the 2025 season as they made the switch from Suzuki to Yamaha. This transition held great expectations for both the team and the talented Frenchman, as they hoped to build on the momentum and achieve even greater success.

However, just as the season was beginning to gain momentum, Bourdon’s journey came to an abrupt halt following a harrowing crash during a practice session. While training at the track, the talented rider was involved in a severe fall that would mark the end of his season. The crash left Bourdon with significant injuries: a dislocated hip, a broken pelvis, and damage to his lumbar vertebrae. These injuries are not only painful but require extensive recovery time, forcing him to sideline his 2025 Supercross campaign.

Bourdon took to social media to share the heartbreaking news with his fans and followers. In an emotional post, he expressed his frustration and resolve: “SEASON OVER! There are days when everything goes according to plan… and others when everything changes in a split second. I had a big fall at training yesterday, and there wasn’t much I could do about it. Dislocated hip, broken pelvis and lumbar vertebra. It’s going to be a long road to recovery, but I’m keeping my spirits up and motivated.”

Despite the severity of his injuries, Bourdon’s message conveyed a sense of determination. Although his immediate future in racing is uncertain, his resilience and positive mindset are evident in his words. With a long road to recovery ahead, the French talent remains focused on staying motivated and hopeful for the future, determined to bounce back stronger than before.

While it’s a devastating setback for Bourdon, the support from fans and fellow riders alike will undoubtedly play a crucial role in his recovery. Racing fans and the AMA Supercross community will be eagerly awaiting his return to the track in the future. For now, the focus will be on his healing process as Bourdon looks ahead to the next chapter in his career.
