Daytona International Speedway Unveils 2025 Supercross Course Layout

Daytona Beach, FL – December 18, 2024 – Daytona International Speedway has officially revealed the highly anticipated course layout for the 2025 Daytona Supercross, set to take place on March 1, 2025, during the 84th Annual Bike Week At Daytona. This year marks the 18th consecutive year that five-time Daytona Supercross Champion Ricky Carmichael has designed the course, and the 2025 layout promises to challenge riders in exciting new ways.

As one of the most iconic events in motorsports, Daytona Supercross is known for its high-speed racing and unpredictable action. Carmichael’s track design continues to be a highlight of the event, blending technical difficulty with thrilling moments that keep fans on the edge of their seats.

A Track Full of New Challenges

The 2025 course layout introduces several fresh elements that will test the riders’ skills. The race will kick off with a right-handed first corner, a departure from previous years. From there, riders will make a sharp left-handed 90-degree turn before entering a rhythm section that runs parallel to the famous Roost. Following this, they will race across the front stretch, giving fans a spectacular view of the action.

One of the standout features of the 2025 layout is the split lane, which Carmichael has emphasized as a fan-favorite. Split lanes provide riders with different options for navigating the track, allowing for more strategic decision-making during the race. Carmichael’s experience and track design expertise are evident in the careful balance he strikes between technical sections and opportunities for high-speed racing.

“This year’s design is going to be a lot of fun,” Carmichael said. “The split lane is always exciting, and we work really hard to make it even and give riders lots of options. The right-hand turn and the completely different track design will bring something new to the table, and I’m looking forward to seeing how it all plays out.”

A Historic Showdown in the Making

The 2025 Daytona Supercross will undoubtedly be an exciting event for fans, as it follows the historic 2024 race in which Jett Lawrence secured his first Daytona Supercross title. Lawrence’s victory over Eli Tomac, the “King” of Daytona Supercross, marked a major milestone in his career. The rivalry between these two riders, as well as the influx of young talent, will add to the intensity of this year’s competition.

The Daytona Supercross is a central part of the 84th Annual Bike Week At Daytona, a 10-day celebration of motorcycling that attracts enthusiasts from around the world. The 2025 event will be accompanied by other major races, including the Daytona 200 (March 6-8) and the Daytona Short Track (March 6-7), making it a must-attend festival for motorsport fans.
